The intraoral radiography is an exploratory technique consisting of the placement, Inside the mouth, of different sized radiographic plates that are impressed, from the outside, by an X-ray machine.

The orthopantomography o Panoramic radiography is a radiological technique that represents, in a single movie, a general picture of the jaws, jaw and teeth, therefore, is of primary use in the dentomaxillomandibular area.

At present, digital radiology is replacing the traditional radiographic plate.

With this technique a better image quality is achieved, reducing radiation to the patient by up to 80%.

Computer science applied to radiology makes it possible to adapt the images captured radiologically to see details that until now were impossible to see.
